StressBook is designed with privacy in mind. We hope this Privacy Policy is clear and transparent. If you have any questions, please contact us at support@scicodream.com.
This Privacy Policy explains what information StressBook may collect, how it is used, and how your data is protected.
1. No Account Required
StressBook does not require you to create an account.
Because the App does not provide an account system, we do not collect or store account information such as your name, username, password, or profile information.
2. Health Data
StressBook may access health-related data, such as heart rate, heart rate variability, activity, or other Apple Health data, only after you grant permission through the system authorization process.
Your health data is stored locally on your device, and related calculations are performed on your device. We do not have access to your Apple Health data, health records, personal entries, or detailed wellness data stored in the App.
You can manage or revoke Health permissions at any time in your device settings.
3. Local App Data
Data you enter or generate in StressBook is stored locally on your device unless you choose to use Apple iCloud backup or sync features.
We do not operate a server-side account database for your personal App entries, health records, or private usage content.
4. iCloud Backups
You may optionally back up your App data using Apple iCloud.
Your iCloud backups are stored in your private iCloud space. We do not have access to your iCloud backup files.
Apple secures iCloud data using encryption in transit and encrypted storage. For certain sensitive information, Apple may use end-to-end encryption. You can learn more from Apple’s iCloud security documentation.
5. Support Emails
If you contact us by email or through a customer support form, we may obtain your email address and any information you choose to include in your message.
We use this information only to respond to your request, provide support, collect feedback, or send important information related to your inquiry.
We do not use your support email address for advertising or sell it to third parties.
6. Usage and Diagnostic Information
StressBook may collect limited usage, diagnostic, and technical information to help us maintain, improve, and optimize the App.
This information may include, but is not limited to:
- App version;
- device model;
- operating system version;
- language and region settings;
- crash logs;
- performance data;
- feature usage statistics;
- installation or device-related technical identifiers;
- anonymized or privacy-protective analytics data.
This information is used to understand how the App is functioning, identify bugs, improve user experience, evaluate feature performance, and make the App more reliable.
The usage and diagnostic information we collect is not intended to personally identify you. We do not associate this information with your name, email address, Apple Health data, personal entries, or any content you type into the App.
7. Information We Do Not Collect
StressBook does not collect personal information that directly identifies you, such as your name, surname, address, phone number, or personal identity information.
StressBook also does not collect the private content you enter into the App, and we do not access your detailed health records stored locally on your device.
8. Purchases and Subscriptions
StressBook may offer paid features, one-time purchases, and auto-renewable subscriptions, including monthly and annual membership plans.
All App Store purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment card number, billing address, or other payment method details.
We may receive limited purchase or subscription status information from Apple or Apple-provided systems only as necessary to unlock paid features, verify membership status, prevent abuse, and provide customer support.
9. Third-Party Services
StressBook may use Apple system services, such as Apple Health, HealthKit, iCloud, App Store, and related Apple frameworks.
The use of these services may be subject to Apple’s own privacy policies, terms, and settings.
StressBook may also use privacy-conscious analytics or crash reporting services to help us understand technical issues and improve the App. These services are used only for App operation, diagnostics, and improvement purposes, and not to personally identify you.
10. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information processed by StressBook.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children’s Privacy
StressBook is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Any changes will be posted on this page. You are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how StressBook protects your information.
