MoMoSleep Privacy Policy

Welcome to MoMoSleep. We care deeply about your privacy and data security. This policy explains how MoMoSleep handles your information. Please read it carefully before using the app.

1. Scope & Overview

  • This policy applies to your use of MoMoSleep on iOS and, where applicable, watchOS.
  • We do not upload any of your personal information or in-app data to our own servers. By default, all app data is stored locally on your device.
  • If you enable iCloud in system settings, the app may sync data via your personal iCloud account. We, the developers, cannot access your iCloud data.

2. Information We Collect and Use

  • No server-side collection: We do not collect, transfer, or store user data on our servers.
  • Local processing: Sleep records, scores, analysis results, preferences, and similar data are generated and stored locally on your device.
  • Optional data sources (permission-based): With your explicit system permissions, MoMoSleep may locally read:
    • Health data via HealthKit (e.g., sleep analysis);
    • Screen Time–related system capabilities (e.g., features used by the Early-Sleep App Lock);
    • Notifications (for reminders and alerts);
    • iCloud (to sync your own data across devices).
  • These data are used locally to provide and improve features. They are not uploaded to our servers or sold to third parties.

HealthKit Notice

  • HealthKit data are used solely to provide health and fitness features in MoMoSleep.
  • Health data are never used for marketing or advertising and are not shared with third parties.

3. iCloud Sync (Optional)

  • If you enable iCloud, syncing and backups are handled by Apple’s infrastructure and protected by Apple’s security mechanisms.
  • We do not operate or control iCloud. You can disable iCloud for MoMoSleep at any time in system settings and manage or delete MoMoSleep data under Settings > [Your Apple ID] > iCloud > Manage Storage.

4. Third-Party Sharing & Tracking

  • We do not share, sell, or rent your personal information to any third party.
  • We do not integrate third-party ad SDKs or third-party tracking components.
  • We do not use third-party analytics that upload your data.

5. Your Rights & Controls

  • Permissions: You can change permissions (Health data, Notifications, iCloud, etc.) at any time in iOS Settings.
  • Export & Deletion:
    • Local data: You may delete data within the app (where available) or remove the app to delete local data.
    • iCloud data: To delete MoMoSleep data stored in iCloud, go to Settings > [Your Apple ID] > iCloud > Manage Storage, locate MoMoSleep, and delete it.
  • Because we do not hold your personal data on our servers, requests related to access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or data portability generally need to be completed on your device or in iCloud.

6. Data Security

  • We rely on iOS and iCloud security mechanisms, including system sandboxing and permission isolation, to help protect your data.
  • While we take reasonable and industry-standard steps to protect data, no system can be 100% secure. Please safeguard your device and account credentials.

7. Children’s Privacy

  • MoMoSleep is not designed specifically for children. If you are a minor, please use the app under the guidance and consent of a guardian.
  • If you believe we have processed a minor’s data without proper consent, contact us and we will assist promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

  • We may update this policy due to feature changes or legal/regulatory updates. We will notify you appropriately in the app. If a change materially affects permissions or your rights/obligations, we will provide more prominent notice.
