GoodPriceMatrix Privacy Policy

Last Updated: January 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how GoodPriceMatrix (“GoodPriceMatrix,” “we,” “us,” or “Developer”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the GoodPriceMatrix application and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed through the Service. It does not apply to third-party services you may connect to the Service (for example, Apple’s App Store Connect). Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

Depending on how you use the Service, you may provide:

  • Account/workspace information (e.g., workspace name, project names, country group names, tags, notes you enter).
  • Support communications (e.g., messages you send via in-app feedback, email, or other support channels, and any attachments you choose to provide).
  • Optional diagnostic details you choose to include in support requests (e.g., screenshots, logs).

2.2 Information From Connected Third-Party Services

If you choose to connect third-party services (such as App Store Connect), we may process information retrieved from those services as necessary to provide the Service, such as:

  • App identifiers and metadata (e.g., app name, bundle identifier, SKU, territories you manage).
  • Pricing-related data (e.g., price points, price tiers, subscriptions/IAP pricing configuration).
  • Account-related metadata required to maintain the connection (e.g., token status, connection timestamps).

Important: We do not receive your Apple ID password. Authentication is handled through Apple-supported mechanisms (e.g., tokens). You are responsible for managing your third-party credentials and access permissions.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

When you use the Service, we may automatically collect:

  • Device and app information (e.g., device model, operating system version, app version, language/region settings).
  • Usage data (e.g., feature interactions, performance metrics, crash reports, and aggregated analytics).
  • Log data (e.g., error events, request timing, and reliability metrics).

2.4 Information We Do Not Intend to Collect

GoodPriceMatrix is designed for developer workflows and is not intended to collect:

  • Sensitive personal information (such as health data, precise location, or biometric identifiers), unless you explicitly provide it to support.
  • Contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or other unrelated device data.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we process to:

  • Provide and operate the Service (e.g., display pricing projects, manage multi-app workflows, apply country group filters, and support PPP-based pricing tools).
  • Maintain connections to third-party services you authorize.
  • Improve reliability and performance (e.g., fix bugs, prevent crashes, and optimize speed).
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
  • Protect security and integrity (e.g., detect abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access).
  • Comply with legal obligations where applicable.

4. Legal Bases (Where Required)

Where required by applicable law (such as in certain jurisdictions), we process information based on:

  • Performance of a contract (to provide the Service you request),
  • Legitimate interests (e.g., maintaining security and improving the Service),
  • Consent (e.g., optional analytics settings, where applicable),
  • Legal obligations.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only in the following situations:

5.1 Service Providers

We may use trusted vendors to help operate the Service (e.g., analytics, crash reporting, cloud infrastructure, customer support tooling). They are authorized to process information only to provide services to us and must protect it.

5.2 Third-Party Integrations You Enable

If you connect App Store Connect or other third-party services, data may be exchanged with those services as part of the functionality you request.

5.3 Legal and Safety

We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to:

  • Comply with law, regulation, legal process, or government requests,
  • Enforce these policies or protect our rights,
  • Prevent fraud or security incidents,
  • Protect the safety of users or the public.

5.4 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

6. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary to:

  • Provide the Service,
  • Meet support needs,
  • Comply with legal obligations,
  • Resolve disputes, and
  • Enforce agreements.

Retention periods may vary depending on data type and operational requirements.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your devices and any third-party accounts you connect to the Service.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights such as:

  • Access to information we hold about you,
  • Correction of inaccurate information,
  • Deletion of certain information,
  • Objection or restriction of processing,
  • Portability (in some cases),
  • Withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.

You can submit requests using the support/contact method shown in the app. We may need to verify your request before responding.

9. International Data Transfers

If we process information outside your country of residence, we will take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, consistent with applicable law.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us to request deletion.

11. Analytics and Crash Reporting

We may use analytics and crash reporting to understand feature usage and improve stability. Where required, we will provide choices for analytics collection. You may also have device-level controls (e.g., Apple settings) that affect diagnostic data sharing.

12. PPP Data and External Datasets

The Service may include PPP-related indicators or datasets from third parties. These datasets may be updated over time and may vary in accuracy or applicability. Any such data is used to support your internal pricing decisions and is not a guarantee of outcomes.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we may notify you within the app or by other reasonable means. The “Last Updated” date reflects the effective date of the current version.

14. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or want to exercise your rights, please use the support/contact method shown in the app (e.g., Settings → Feedback / Support).
